8 Weeks Old

Happy Halloween!

The kids had a great day yesterday- when they first headed out to trick-or-treat it was very quiet and I was worried if it would be a slow evening but luckily all of the ghosts and goblins started making their way out! Both Kiara and Cavan came home with TONS of candy although Cavan called it a night after an hour while Kiara stayed out for two.....how they lasted that long is beyond me because it was COLD outside last night!

I decided to snap a few pics of Fi in one of the outfits her Aunt got her.....and well.....she wasn't thrilled with the idea of having her picture taken :)


....but no worries sis, she gave the outfit a thumbs-up!

Afternoon at the park

Today, Cavan and I decided to take Fiona to the neighborhood park. We had a great time and Fi was so sweet to sit in the stroller so we could play on the teeter totter and swings as well as a quick game of hide & seek. He and I had a great time.

So we had a photographer come to our home to capture pics of Fi and our family and she brought the coolest bowl....being impatient and wanting to see the images she took I decided to go out and get a bowl similar to the one she used so I could try to get a few of Fi while I try to patiently wait for the proofs :) Anyway- here are a few snaps I got in Miss Fi's room this afternoon-

I know everyone wants to see pics and honestly I haven't had time to get them off the camera...let alone look through them! Here are a few that we have taken since Miss F* came home.

So Miss F* had her first photoshoot the other day and while going through the images I fell in love with this one.....what's your thoughts on the crop- I love it but B* doesn't.....so what do you think? Does it work?

3 1/2 weeks to go!

So I convinced K* to snap a few pics of my big belly the other day and was pleasantly surprised with what she got....we knew she was creative but wow- what an eye:)

Four4fourFOUR!

I can't believe that C* actually let me take a few pictures of him! I'm excited to have captured his four year portraits before this little brother or sister arrives!

So here it is after 11pm and this little peanut is more active than ever! I swear every night around 11pm it's moving around like crazy! Nesting has DEFINITELY set in seeing that I have cleaned out the guest room/nursery closet, we redid the laundry room, I've organized the craft pantry, and cleaned the office- I still have TONS of filing but at least you can walk in the room:) Tomorrow is going to be a crazy day with dropping Cavan off at school, going to a doctor's appt., helping in K*'s classroom, and going to UPS. I am also hoping to get my eyebrows threaded before picking C* up from camp but we'll see what all I can get accomplished! I still can't get over how crazy life has been and I just keep thinking that there are not enough hours in the day to finish all of the little tasks I want to get done prior to this little one's arrival! Can you believe that I am already 33 1/2 weeks into this pregnancy? And just think....they are taking it at 39 weeks which leaves just over 5 weeks to get everything done!!!!! I keep looking at my list and as I have been productive it just seems to keep growing....kind of like my laundry piles:) I hope that someday I will be organized and on top of things without the constant stress of to much to do and not enough time! Thanks for letting me ramble....off to bed-

So here it is after midnight and I can't sleep because my heartburn is so bad! Nevermind the fact that I have my holiday mini sessions tomorrow and must be up and out the door early early....but instead- here I am on the computer posting a couple of images of C* playing with Thomas:) He was in a funny mood this morning and "Thomas" wanted his picture taken!
