C's Birthday Cake

We are having a bowling party to celebrate C's 5th birthday! I decided to make the cake myself :) I carved a bowling pin cake and then made bowling ball cupcakes to go with it! Hopefully C* will appreciate the effort I've put in to make his day special :) I'm certain that B* appreciates all of my hard work as the cake/cupcakes cost less than $5 verses the $50 it would have cost at the bakery!

She's a FOURTH grader!!!!

Yes- you read that right! K* started her first day of fourth grade today! I can't believe just how fast she is growing up :( I am so proud of what a beautiful, smart, sensitive young lady she is becoming but at the same time I miss having her home with me....summer just isn't long enough!

You've gotta love Aunt Colleen! She is such a fun aunt and sent us a cookie cake to help cheer on the COLTS today....but don't worry Chicago- she's not cheating on you!


Someone should really let her know that the Bears didn't make it to the superbowl :)

3 1/2 months

Can you believe that Miss Fi is almost 4 months old?????


She is getting way to big! I am looking forward to going to the doctor in a few weeks to see just how big she's gotten as well as getting medicine to clear up her clogged tear ducts! She is also suffering from pretty severe eczema so hopefully they will test her for allergies so I can avoid certain foods if needed! Anyway- here's a pic that I snapped this afternoon! Enjoy!
